Haunted Houses Near Huntsville
Everybody remain calm… Spooky Season is here! My most favorite time of the year. Have you been looking for a haunted house? Well, you have nothing to fear… except maybe zombies, murdering psychos, vampires… you get the point.
Here are a few recommendations to help maximize your spooky experience this year. One additional perk is the scare scale, very simple 1-5 rating, 1 being a visit to Halloweentown & 5 being the room of a real-life exorcism.

DoomsDay Haunted Attraction
Scare Scale: 4
24952 US-72 Athens, AL 35613

We found this gem close to the Isom’s Orchard & Par 72 Driving Range. Let me tell you, this is more than just your normal haunted house, it is a destination. Calling home on an old paintball field which has provided more than enough space to house all of the special perks of this attraction. From a midway filled with food trucks and ax throwing to foam pits and vendors, there is more than enough to occupy your time before you head to one or both haunted features. DoomsDay offers both a war torn radioactive take on haunted woods & a haunted city along with a separate haunted corn maze attraction.

The Haunted Lester Hospital
Scare Scale: 4
30338 Lester Rd Lester, AL 35647
Facebook | Website
Normally I have gone to haunted houses for the production value and the ability to enjoy a good scream and laugh. The Haunted Lester Hospital kinda kicks things up a notch here, not only do they offer a great Haunted House, they legitimately have paranormal activity claims at the hospital as well. I think this is a must-stop to see if you are not only able to experience the attraction but also catch/experience any true paranormal activity. Outside of the verified paranormal activity, they bring local food vendors to offer options to guests.

Enjoyed the list of haunted houses. We would loved to be featured in any kind of Halloween activity list. We are a family friendly environment. Check is out at Grace Hill Farms Zombie Paintball

This list is great. We would love to be included at Haunted Hill Haunt4Charity. Located in Huntsville. We cater the scare to the age of our guest. We are raising money this year for the Felines and Canines Rescue Center in Owens Cross Roads. Check us out at Haunt4Charity on FB or on our website.

The Dr. Richard Showers Recreation Center hosts a Haunted House too. Last year brought out over 800 visitors and this year should be memorable too.

Hi- this list is very helpful. We like to visit the “Haunted House of Horror” (Courtland, AL), which is also nearby. This one is indoors, which is especially good if the weather gets cold/wet.
